The Divine Feminine

collaborating seamlessly with Yerandy, we planned and executed the Divine Feminine (Eleven:Eleven) event, a unique celebration held on 11/11 to honor and amplify women's contributions to the arts. together we meticulously curated a diverse lineup, intentionally selecting women djs of various backgrounds, a standout female rapper, yaya, and three women creatives as hosts, including myself. the journey began by connecting with and building relationships with multiple women djs, a crucial step in crafting the perfect musical atmosphere for the party. simultaneously, Yerandy and i worked in tandem to source venues, engage in effective communication to solidify agreements, and oversee the hiring of security personnel.

as the event took shape, i collaborated on the event flier, developing the ticket link, and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy. this collaborative effort resulted in packing out the venue with over 300 attendees by the end of the night, with more than 50% being women. beyond the numerical success, the event fostered a vibrant community of collaborative women, echoing the success of previous endeavors. this experience not only showcased my event planning skills in venue coordination and communication but also highlighted our ability to seamlessly connect with and uplift a community through creative and purposeful curation.
